For some time now, we’ve held Manchester close to our hearts. Admirers from afar, we’ve looked on dotingly at its fabulous food scene, beautiful architecture and dreamed of one day calling it home. So when a local landlord asked what we thought of a cosy basement in the corner of a Grade ll listed warehouse, formerly home to a textile merchant rich with Mancunian history, we hopped on the first train from Euston, took one look and knew we’d found the one. That it’s hiding in plain sight beneath bustly Peter Street, a stone’s throw away from a few places we have ever-so-mild industry crushes on like Speak in Code and Schofield’s Bar sealed the deal.
We know that bookings are important for certain occasions, whether your dining for two or celebrating in a larger group, we take reservations of up to a maximum of 8 people at both lunch and dinner.
